RecoverKit is designed to keep recovery work local to your Mac. The website and licensing service process information needed to process purchases, manage licenses, prevent abuse, and provide support.

Purchase and license information

Order email, payment provider identifiers, hashed license keys, hashed device identifiers, app version, activation timestamps, and support messages.

Recovery data

Recovery runs locally on your Mac. The licensing service does not require uploads of recovered photos, videos, or scanned card contents.
